Devices with amazing selfie cameras are available across all pricing spectrums, but today we’re going to look at five selfie camera phones available in India under the Rs. 15000 bracket.

Asus Zenfone Selfie

Launched in August 2016, the Asus Zenfone Selfie (16 GB, 3 GB RAM) variant comes with a 13 MP front snapper along with dual flash and is a delight for selfie aficionados. The Zenfone Selfie’s front camera also features a back-illuminated sensor, auto-focus and a 2.2F aperture which produces great images even in low lights. Other than these features, the Asus Zenfone Selfie is powered by an Octa-core (1.7 GHz) Snapdragon 615 chipset with Adreno 405 GPU, backed by a 3000 mAh battery. It sports a 3 GB RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4, 16 GB of internal memory expandable up to 128 GB and a 13 MP rear camera as well. The phone came with Android 5 Lollipop, but the company has released an Android 6 Marshmallow update for their device. The device supports 2 Micro sims. The device comes with one of the most highly rated front cameras and trumps all others in this segment with its superior 13 MP selfie cam.

Gionee S6s

Launched in August 2016, the Gionee S6s is one of the most popular selfie phones in the market, priced below the Rs. 15000 mark. It comes with an 8 MP front camera, one of the most highly rated selfie cameras in the market. The device is powered by an Octa-core (1.3 GHz) MediaTek chipset with Mali-T720 MP3 GPU, backed by a 3150 mAh battery. It sports a 3GB RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 32 GB of internal memory expandable up to 128 GB and a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash. The device runs on Android 6 Marshmallow with customisations by Amigo 3.2 UI and also features a fingerprint sensor for additional security on your device. The device supports dual sim (Micro and Nano – hybrid). The successor to Gionee S6 comes with loads of upgrades in the new device like a better camera, fingerprint sensor and better display.

Lenovo Note K5

Launched in August 2016, the Note K5 features a 8 MP front camera and loads of other top-end features, which makes it a fore-runner in the sub-Rs. 15000 slot. The device also gets a 13 MP rear camera with dual flash. The Lenovo device is powered by an Octa-core (1.8 GHz) MediaTek chipset with Mali-T860 MP2 GPU, backed by a 3500 mAh battery. It also sports 4 GB RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display, 32 GB of internal storage expandable up to 128 GB, a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. The phone comes with a big RAM, which makes multi-tasking a piece of cake; the massive battery is a big plus too as it enables the phone to run for long between two charges. The device supports two Nano sims.

LeEco Le 2

Launched in September 2016, the device comes in two variants — 32 GB and 64 GB — fitted with a front camera of 8 MP and a rear camera of 16 MP with flash. The device is powered by an Octa-core (1.8 GHz) Snapdragon 652 chipset with  Adreno 510 GPU — a boon for gamers — and is backed by a 3000 mAh fast-charging battery. It also sports 3 GB RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display, an option between 64 GB and 32 GB of internal storage with no expandable memory, a fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. The device supports 2 Nano sims. The phone comes with a USB-type C charger, which means charging your battery is as quick as a breeze (well, not literally) but it helps you worry less about battery drainage and more about what all you can do with your device active for longer periods. The lack of extra storage is a minus, as most of its competitors come with expandable storage. However, with an advanced Adreno GPU, gaming on this device is a more comfortable experience.

Lyf F1

Launched in October 2016, the F1 sports a 8 MP front snapper with autofocus and a 16 MP primary camera with dual LED flash. The device is powered by an Octa-core (1.5 GHz) Snapdragon 617 chipset with 405 GPU and is backed by a 3200 mAh battery. It also sports 3 GB RAM, a 5.5-inch full-HD display with Corning Gorilla glass 4, 32 GB internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB, and runs on Android 6 Marshmallow. Famous for Jio sim (VoLTE), the Lyf F1 supports a Micro and a Nano sim. The device lacks a fingerprint sensor, which was expected from a phone in this budget as its competition sports them too. Apart from that, the device has decent cameras and multi-tasks well. The above article may contain affiliate links which help support Guiding Tech.
