If an individual maintains only a single backup account, any one of these apps may be enough for him. But what if he maintains an account on all of them? This is highly likely considering the amount of free storage space they offer together. Managing each account using the app sure is a solution but not an optimal one. So today I will show you how you can maintain multiple cloud storage accounts (Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive, SugarSync and Box.net) from a single Android app called ES File Explorer. Cool Tip: This is not the first time we are going to talk about this multi-purpose app. See how you can access shared windows folder on Android over Wi-Fi using ES File Explorer.

Configuring Cloud Storage Accounts on ES File Explorer

If you don’t already have ES File Explorer on your Android, get it from the Play Store. To get started, launch the application and tap the Local button  on the top left to open a popup change view menu. In the popup menu select the option Net  to open Net access location. Here, tap the New button on tool bar and select the account you would like to configure. As I prefer Google Drive, I will proceed with that. ES File Explorer will now launch the account authentication page for the selected cloud storage. Provide your login credentials to grant ES File Explorer access over your account. After the account has been authenticated, the icon for the particular account will be available on the app. Just click on it to access all the files on the specific cloud storage. You can download the files to your Android, upload them to your account and perform basic file operations right from ES File Explorer. Repeat these steps to add all your cloud storage accounts to ES File Explorer. Note: You can add multiple accounts for the same cloud storage service too. Isn’t that awesome?

Conclusion

If you need to access and manage multiple online backup accounts from your Android, using ES File Explorer is always better than using the individual apps for the same. What do you think?
